Nashik is beautiful, no question about it, To host an event in a beautiful city, we were looking for state of the art venue, which will fulfill all our needs.
Choosing a venue is the one decision that will have the largest impact on the event. Before we began our search for the venue, there were a few things we considered of:
- Budget
- Number of attendees
- Location
As this is Inaugural WordCamp for Nashik, We decided that we’ll only have a day long WordCamp, keeping single track sessions.
We are trying our level best to give WordPress community a chance to gather together in a new beautiful location to geek-out, share experiences, do business, and most of all, talk WordPress.
Keeping in mind the ease to access the venue, surrounded by budget friendly accommodation, We chose NEC (Nashik Engineering Cluster) to host WordCamp Nashik 2016.
Nashik Engineering Cluster (NEC) located at MIDC Ambad, Nashik, in India, is Non-profit organization, formed under Industrial Infrastructure Up-gradation Scheme(IIUS), Ministry Of Commerce & Industry, Government Of India.
NEC has top-end infrastructural set-up for design and development activities for the service of industries.
