Design Thinking is a methodology that takes a solution based approach to solve problems that are ill-defined or unknown. It understands the underlying needs by re-phrasing the problem in a more human-centric way.
If applied, Design Thinking can enable plugin/theme developers decide which new plugin/theme is best to be made so that it can reach out to as many people as it can. It also helps define an action plan to increase the sales/awareness of existing theme/plugin.
Design Thinking uses a 6-step non-linear process that helps solve complex problems coming in way of products. It is a formalized framework of applying the creative design process to traditional business problems.
