Tejaswini Deshpande is a WordPress Developer, working as a co-founder at WebFanzine Media – a WordPress based products company and a Partner at sisme.in – a Video Production and animation studio. She has developed more than 25 WordPress plugins and a couple of custom WordPress themes for certain users. A co-founder of Webfanzine Media where they develop custom functionalities for WordPress users, she is mostly involved with development, maintenance and support to the users. Along with WordPress, she loves working on Vue.js due to its flexibility and ease of use.
Apart from work, she loves playing badminton, cricket and she runs a lot. She has a very adorable Labrador named Ajax and a fierce kitty named Bob, playing with them and talking about them is what she enjoys a lot 😉

At WordCamp Nashik 2017, Tejaswini will shed a light on WordPress REST API, With WordPress rolling out RESTful API in core, the possibilities to create anything on and with WordPress are now infinite. With REST APIs, we can get data out of WordPress and we can post data to our WordPress from outside WordPress.
In her talk, she will cover how the power of WordPress REST APIs can be used to create functional Single Page Applications (SPA). Also, if time permits, she would cover possibilities where else the RESTful APIs can be used.
