A logo. Something that gives an idea about what it is denoting. Want the dictionary words? Pretty simple.<\/p>\n

noun. A symbol or other small design adopted by an organization to identify its products, uniform, vehicles, etc.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Well, we do not want you to identify any product or a vehicle. Here in the logo, we wanna give you a clue about what’s Nashik famous for<\/strong>.

\nLogos meant a lot. One look at the logo and we instantly know which brand it is. That’s the power of a logo, it can either make or break a company<\/strong>. \ud83d\ude33 Creating a successful logo isn’t child’s play, and all the big brands have one thing in common: brilliant logos!<\/p>\n

Billionaire companies make their logos with amazing concepts we rarely think of. Any examples of such brilliant concepts? You figure it out in comments section, and I’ll figure some of them over here \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

Big brands always look for an adorable logo which can be remembered centuries ahead. Marketers do a lot of Research and Development for constructing a logo which should be widely respected by owners and customers as well.<\/p>\n

Such a logo, is the logo of Amazon. At the first look, the arrow won’t make sense. But, at a closer look, you could soon recognize that The arrow dragged from A to Z is just a way that Amazon shown, to say that it has everything<\/strong><\/em>! Makes sense, huh?<\/p>\n

So, Its enough about other companies. That was just an example. What I meant to tell you, is about Wordcamp Nashik 2017’s featured logo, which looks like this:<\/p>\n

So, this logo has a River-Like structure below two buildings. Well, I’m pleased to tell you that its river Godavari and its the bank of Godavari River where Nashik is located. This river is one of the holy rivers in India where millions of saints and sages had bath during Kumbhmela 2016.<\/p>\n

Now its time to know about the upper two buildings you see in the logo. Probably, they can easily be guessed that they are temples. Well, there are much more interesting facts to know about those buildings which stand just before the Godavari River.<\/p>\n

What religious importance do those kunds<\/em> and temples have? Well, here’s the answer.. It is believed<\/strong> that during the period of exile\/Vanavas<\/em>, Rama and Sita used to bathe in this tank or kund<\/em>. It is said that This kund<\/em> contains holy water and even today, the ashes of a dead person are immersed in this kund<\/em> by religious Hindus so that the dead can attain salvation\/Mukti<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the picture above, did you noticed those two temples? The longer one is at the utmost right side of the image. And the shorter Dome-Like temple will be seen in the left.<\/p>\n

Nashik has a Kumbhmela which occurs every 12 years and it is often called as the ultimate meet of all saints and sages throughout the country. There are four such “Kumbhmela Places” in India where this occasion takes place. One of those 4 places is Nashik! \ud83d\ude00
